"This park covers more than 760 acres along the Northwest River and is listed as part of the Virginia Bird and Wildlife Trail, offering a year’s worth of bird-watching opportunities for bird lovers.

Lake Lesa covers 300 acres and is stocked with bass, catfish, blue gill, and crappie. There are 7 miles of hiking trails that range from 0.25 mile to more than 2 miles. The 2-mile Molly Mitchell Trail is accessible to people with disabilities in one section."
