Shenandoah Valley Cruise

Shenandoah Valley Cruise Professional Review and Guide

"The Shenandoah Valley, extending north to south over 150 miles, is an area blessed with scenic beauty and rich in American history. The Shenandoah Valley Cruise takes the cyclist through the heart of the valley, past the farmlands that once served Robert E. Lee’s armies and over hilltops providing unparalleled views of the valley and the Blue Ridge and Shenandoah mountains.

This cruise features many of the same roads used by the Shenandoah Fall Foliage Festival held in Staunton in late October. Although designed to be a cruise, this ride can be made into a challenge by including the option of climbing to Todd Lake. Terrain: Rolling hills. Some long, flat stretches. Intermediate difficulty. Todd Lake option includes several miles of difficult climbing."
