This is a fantastic hike. I was looking for a hike to fill a whole day and I was recommended this one. I had quite some time left afterwards, even though it was getting dark around 5, so I wouldn't say this hike is that long. It's a decent 4-5 hour hike up and down, depending on your shape ;-) The trail is maintained, fairly wide, I was actually thinking I could almost make it on my MTB up and (for sure) down. The views along the trail and on the top are worth every drop of sweat. On my way down, since I had a couple of hours of daylight left, I decided to go see the Hidden Canyon as well, since that trail branches off the main trail. If you like the thrill, then you should consider this option :-) because you don't get that feeling on the way to Observation Point. The trail gets really narrow and you can also hold on to chains as you walk along the canyon walls. The maintained trail ends pretty quickly, but if you like to scramble a little bit, keep going. The canyon is amazing, the huge vertical walls come so close to each other that you can almost reach them both with your hands. You can also see a superb arch about 15-20 minutes from the end of the maintained trail, which makes the whole adventure worth the effort.
