Pelican Lake Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Dirt roads provide Pelican Lake in northeastern Utah is known for producing large bluegill. A Bureau of Land Management (BLM) camping area with 18 units and a boat ramp is located on the south side. There may be no better bluegill fishing in the state, or even in the entire West.
In the 1980s Pelican grew huge, hard-fighting bluegill up to 2 pounds, but consecutive low-water years and heavy pressure took its toll. Key Species: Bluegill, largemouth bass, green sunfish, and catfish."
