Wildcat Connector Trail

Wildcat Connector Trail Professional Review and Guide

"From the junction at 9900 feet, the trail traverses under the “rim,” the rocky ledge that forms the rim of Boulder Mountain. From the junction to Chokecherry Creek is about 1.25 miles through aspen forest and grassy meadows.

As you approach the creek, the trail drops a couple hundred feet. Cows are near the stream in summer, but there are good camping spots and reliable, filterable water. All along this connector trail, you have great views of Capitol Reef to the east and relative solitude."
