Goosenecks and Sunset Point

Goosenecks and Sunset Point Professional Review and Guide

"Visitors in a hurry to get a taste of what Utah’s least-visited national park offers need to stop here for a glimpse. This is a stop many people simply traveling through the park without intentions to do any hiking will make to stretch their legs, snap a couple of pictures, and then jump back in the car to continue their adventure.

Sunset Point is a short walk starting on the east side of
the parking lot. A bench marks the midpoint of the walk. Another bench is located at the end of the trail to make taking in the sunset that much easier. Just as with the Goose-
necks walk, use caution when hiking near the edge of the
delicate cliffs. As the name indicates, this is a great place for visitors to Capitol Reef National Park to be at sunset."
