Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Small boats can be launched from an unimproved ramp on the north side of the dam. The road is usually closed until late June due to snow and four-wheel drive is advised.

Duck Fork was converted to a native Colorado River cutthroat trout brood lake in 2003. Fishing is usually best in the morning or early evening. Duck Fork is on the state’s Blue Ribbon Fisheries list.

Key Species: Cutthroat trout and tiger trout."
