Sixth Water Creek

Sixth Water Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Sixth Water Creek is created by the Strawberry Tunnel. Officials have obtained a regulated flow, securing a year-round home for fish. Lower stretches of the creek can be reached near the Three Forks Campground, where Sixth Water and First Water Creeks feed into Diamond Fork.

For its size, Sixth Water Creek is an unbelievably good brown and cutthroat trout fishery. Large attractor dries, like Royal Wulff, trudes, stimulators, Chernobyl ants, and other terrestrials, work well. During higher flows and in the
fall, streamers are a great option for hooking bigger fish.

Key Species: Brown trout and cutthroat trout."
