This is a fairly leveled rather long walk to Observation point through the East Mesa, going through private property. It is not complicated to get to the trailhead but DO NOT TRY IT IF IT's WET unless you have multi-threaded tires on a 4X4. The best view of Zion Canyon after a satisfying walk through a fairly shaded, well marked trail. Bring all the water you can carry as it is has no sources whatsoever. We did it as a family group and it is quite doable. This is the best way to cheat to get to Observation Point avoiding the long climb through Hidden Canyon.
