Logan River

Logan River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Logan offers anglers three different kinds of fishing opportunities. Three reservoir-like impoundments near the city of Logan are stocked regularly with rainbow trout and provide good family fishing from shore with bait. The river between the impoundments has large populations of rainbow, albino, and brown trout.

The Logan from the upper dam upstream to Card Canyon Bridge, roughly 3.5 miles, is more heavily fished than the upper stretches because of easier access. Key Species: Rainbow trout, brown trout, cutthroat trout, brook trout, and whitefish."
