Whiterocks River Drainage Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Because of its close proximity to Vernal, the Whiterocks Drainage is one of the most heavily used on the south slope of the Uintas. There are 45 lakes or ponds supporting fish here.
From Highway 121 near Lapoint, a road heads north to Forest Road 104, which takes you to Paradise Park Reservoir. Trailheads at Paradise Park provide access to lakes on the east side of the Whiterocks Drainage. Another point of access can be reached by following the main road in the town of Whiterocks north to a road that leads up Pole Mountain and ends at Chepeta Lake.
Key Species: Brook trout, cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, grayling, golden trout, and brown trout."
