"The main trailhead for this drainage starts in Yellowstone Canyon at the Swift Creek Campground, about 15 miles north of Mountain Home. This heavily used lake is reached 6 miles up the Swift Creek Trail. Brook trout and cutthroat trout are planted here.
A small population of brook trout reside at Grayling. It is reached 5 miles up the Swift Creek Trail to Swift Creek, then 1 mile north along Swift Creek
