Smiths Fork Drainage Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Welcome to Utah, the second-driest state in the nation. Now grab a rod and hit the water, because despite its lack of precipitation, the Beehive State offers an incredible amount of angling opportunity.
This small drainage is centered on the north slope of the Uinta Mountains, and it is perhaps the most naturally beautiful drainage in the system. There are two major tributary systems: the West Fork and East Fork. Twenty-eight of the 60 waters in the Smiths Fork sustain fish life.
Key Species: Brook trout, cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, grayling, golden trout, and brown trout."
