Sheep Creek Drainage Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Lakes of the Sheep Creek and Carter Creek Drainages are located on the north slope of the Uintas and make up the first series of alpine lakes west of Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
No major geographical feature separates these two drainages, so they are often referred to as the Sheep-Carter Creek Drainage. Of the 62 major lakes in the drainage, 34 have game fish populations. Key Species: Brook trout, cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, grayling, golden trout, and brown trout."
