Ashley Creek Drainage

Ashley Creek Drainage Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Welcome to Utah, the second-driest state in the nation. Now grab a rod and hit the water, because despite its lack of precipitation, the Beehive State offers an incredible amount of angling opportunity. Fisheries were serendipitously created all over the state as Utahns built reservoirs to store precious water.

This drainage is not as steep as its sister drainages on the south slope. It is divided into three basin areas: Dry Fork Creek and the South and North Forks of Ashley Creek. At last count, 27 of the 70 lakes and ponds in the drainage supported fish populations. Access is via three trailheads. The Dry Fork access begins at the Paradise Park Reservoir Campground."
