Warner Valley

Warner Valley Professional Review and Guide

"Located about 11 miles east of St. George. Highlights: An easy cruise through a very scenic valley. Points of interest include the ruins of a pioneer fort and very well preserved dinosaur tracks. It is suitable for families and beginners if you drive beyond the normal starting point to shorten the ride. Tread: 17.4 miles on maintained dirt."

Fort Pearce, Warner Valley Petroglyphs /Dinosaur Tracks, AZ My Wife and I started out at Fort Pearce located not to far from the tracks in Warner Valley and hiked the canyon walls to find several petroglyphs and pioneer signatures along the way. Very Moderate hike in beautiful Country we then proceeded to the trail where the tracks are present a few signs of attempted theft and resulting in destruction in some areas, but well worth the short hike again a very easy hike. Very much a place to take the family for an interesting afternoon. Reviewed by Bill & Teresa Kettler
