Sand Hollow Reservoir

Sand Hollow Reservoir Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Water began to fill Sand Hollow Reservoir in 2002. Approximately 100 largemouth bass hit the water in 2003 when DWR officials caught fish from other Utah waters and moved them to this new reservoir 15 miles east of St. George. Sand Hollow State Park provides a concrete launching ramp, two 50-site campgrounds, and four day-use areas.

The largemouth and bluegill will be centered on trees, sagebrush, and whatever other vegetation was in the area before it was flooded, so look for this structure first.

Key Species: Largemouth bass and bluegill."
