Quail Creek Reservoir

Quail Creek Reservoir Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Facilities include 23 campsites, restrooms, and two covered group-use pavilions. Recreational pressure is heavy due to the reservoir’s proximity to St. George. Even-odd boat registration number launching restrictions are in effect on weekends and holidays.

Quail Creek remains ice-free throughout the year, and anglers can be seen here every day. Most Quail Creek anglers are after the big largemouth bass the reservoir is known for. Offcials say bass up to 15 pounds have been reported being pulled from the waters at Quail Creek Reservoir.

Key Species: Largemouth bass, rainbow trout, bluegill, crappie, and bullhead catfish."
