Davis Lakes Professional Review and Guide
"Nestled in a high cirque, Davis Lakes offers a true alpine experience. The surrounding hills are composed of lush green grasses and scattered pines that may remind you of the Swiss Alps. Equestrians will appreciate all the space, pasture, and water for their animals, as well as the fact that horses cannot really roam any higher.Davis Lakes are a little off the beaten path and don’t see a lot of visitors. From West Fork Whiterocks trailhead, the trail goes northwest 2.0 miles to a junction with the trail to Queant Lake. Stay left (northwest) for 1.5 miles to Cleveland Lake. It’s another 3.5 miles to Crescent and Fox Lakes. After you pass Fox Lake, there’s a trail junction with the cutoff trail into the Uinta River Drainage 1.0 mile farther."
