Provo River Parkway

Provo River Parkway Professional Review and Guide

"The Provo River Parkway is perfect for those who take a simpler approach to mountain biking—lightly spinning the pedals, coasting a bit, stopping for a mid-afternoon siesta next to a stream—or for those who enjoy a short jaunt with the family. The Parkway threads through the heart of Provo, connecting Utah Lake State Park and Vivian Park in Provo Canyon. Along the way, the path passes nearly a dozen city and county parks and follows along the banks of the Provo River most of the time.

The Wasatch Range is always in view and grows to colossal proportions until it swallows you whole in Provo Canyon. The Parkway attracts not only bikers but also runners, pedestrians, and in-line skaters of all ages. Multiple trailheads allow you to explore a section at a time instead of the entire route. Tread: Eight foot wide paved and dirt recreational path."
