Millville Peak

Millville Peak Professional Review and Guide

"Millville Peak is a gem of a mountain located at the head of Providence Canyon. The entire area is swarming with snowmobiles, but that shouldn’t deter you from experiencing the spectacular ski lines off Millville’s north side. In fact, if you make friends with the snowmobilers, you might get lucky enough to hitch a ride. Winter access can be long and difficult when the unmaintained canyon road is snowed in, but short spring tours are possible if you can drive all the way to the old quarry. After parking as far as you can up Providence Canyon, skin up the wide, 4x4 Providence Canyon Road toward an old quarry. Massive cliffs mark the area and dominate
both sides of the canyon. Beyond the quarry, the road becomes steep and narrow as it switchbacks into the upper drainage."
