Pete's Hole

Pete's Hole Professional Review and Guide

"You won’t find many mountain bikers in this part of the state for two reasons: it is remote and generally unknown. Ask someone where Joes Valley Reservoir is, or the Wasatch Plateau for that matter, and they will likely stare quizzically and shrug their shoulders. Perhaps that is good. Many people don’t know that the Wasatch Plateau, located bull’s-eye in the center of the state, hosts an untapped wealth of recreational opportunities.

In 1990, an 11,000-year-old mammoth was uncovered in Huntington Canyon along with spear tips. These finds give clear insight as to the extent of prehistoric fauna and to early man’s existence in Utah. Tread: 8 miles of light duty dirt road, 13.5 miles of doubletrack, and 6.5 miles of pseudo-primitive singletrack."
