This 8-mile trail is arguably the most scenic day hike in Bryce Canyon and is less busy than other single-day loops. The eroded pink pillars of Bryce Canyon create mazes stretching to the park’s pine-forested rim. But route finding is simple on this scenery-rich stroll through the pink cliffs and hoodoos (otherworldly freestanding pinnacles also called “fairy chimneys”) of Bryce Canyon’s distinctive Claron Formation. The clear, well-graded track is ideal for fit hikers who have issues like weak ankles or knee injuries that might make the rougher treks nearby too difficult.
