Ogden River Scenic Byway Professional Review and Guide
"A 33-mile route up a colorful, narrow canyon to a pretty reservoir and on up into the mountains. Ogden River Scenic Byway travels through a very diverse region, from a narrow canyon to a large reservoir and up into mountain meadows. The two-lane highway is paved and has scenic turnouts. Traffic is constant in summer and on winter ski weekends. The remainder of the year, traffic is moderate. The byway east of the reservoir and campgrounds gets very light use.
Special attractions include: Pineview Reservoir, autumn foliage, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, interesting geology, far-ranging vistas. This eTrail is a complete description of a scenic drive with a route map and information on the best travel seasons, interesting sites, recreation opportunities, camping locations, and much more."
