The Ogden area is a vast and varied place located in the northwest corner of Utah. One of nine state travel regions, it is comprised of 7,129 square miles and includes part of the Utah geologic regions known as the Great Basin, Wasatch Front Cities, and Rocky Mountain Province. Bordered by Nevada on the west, the Ogden area also abuts Idaho on the north. Four counties—Box Elder, Weber, Morgan, and Davis—call the place home. In addition to grand desert and mountain scenes, there is an abundance of animal life. Campgrounds included in this eTrail are: Sunset, Bountiful Peak, Lost Creek Reservoir, Weber County Memorial Park, Willows, Upper Meadows, Lower Meadows, Perception Park, South Fork, Botts, Hobble, Magpie, Jefferson Hunt, Anderson Cove, North Fork Park, Ft. Buenaventura State Park, Box Elder, and Clear Creek.
