Botts Campground Professional Review and Guide
"That’s not to say that Botts doesn’t have its problems. Because the river and the road are so close together, the campground is sandwiched between the two and is consequently a little closer to the road than is ideal. The South Fork does mute some of the traffic noise, but not all of it. Lock up your valuables to keep them out of sight to avoid being struck by a “smash and grab” criminal, just to be safe.
Each of the seven sites in the campground is immaculately kept. The main tables and campfire areas of each are cast in cement and are as neat as can be. Next to the cement area is where you’ll put your tent. There are no actual tent pads, which is usually not a problem, but at Botts you’ll probably have to get a little creative. Some sites have more obvious plots than others, though each is flat thanks to the topography of this river valley floor."
