Smith and Morehouse Reservoir

Smith & Morehouse Reservoir Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Near the top of Weber Canyon above the town of Oakley, this pretty little pine-shrouded spot is popular with campers. Two large Forest Service campgrounds are located near the reservoir. There is a small boat launch, but on this small reservoir it is more appropriate to use rafts, float tubes, and canoes.

Smith & Morehouse has a good population of catchable rainbow
trout. A few cutthroat sometimes enter from the inlet to the reservoir. Traditional baits work well, though casting a flashy-colored spoon can yield surprising success."
