Potter’s Ponds

Potter’s Ponds Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Welcome to Utah, the second-driest state in the nation. Now grab a rod and hit the water, because despite its lack of precipitation, the Beehive State offers an incredible amount of angling opportunity.

Potter’s Ponds are found about halfway between Miller Flat Reservoir and Joe’s Valley Reservoir. Planted heavily with rainbows, the ponds are popular for families and Scout groups. Bait is the best bet. Power Bait and salmon eggs fished off the bottom produce the most fish. Look for some fish rising to dry flies in the evening.

Key Species: Rainbow trout."
