Willow Flats

Willow Flats Professional Review and Guide

"This four-mile out, four-mile back ride is entirely within Arches National Park on graded gravel and four-wheel-drive roads. It’s easy both technically and aerobically, yet sandy stretches and short expanses of slickrock make for an illuminating, “Desert Riding 101” introductory session.

The ride makes an excellent sunset outing, as it is set amid the unlikely topography of Arches National Park and the huge sky enfolding it. General location: Arches National Park. The park entrance station is 4 miles northwest of Moab."

We enjoyed this trail as a way to get our feet wet. Our youngest needed to get used to her "gear" bike and this was a pretty good trail to do it on. We only went about halfway and then climbed around on some rocks. I found a rattlesnake too!
