Spring Canyon Point Trail Professional Review and Guide
"This easy and scenic trail leads along sandy, graded roads to finish on a narrow-necked promontory high above the Green River. The trail surface makes it suitable for high-clearance vehicles in dry weather. It is predominantly graded sandy road, with sections of deep, powder-fine sand. There are great views all along this trail: Early on there are rocky red buttes and glimpses into Spring Canyon to the southeast and, later, as you travel out onto the point, the Green River dominates the view far below.
Special Attractions: Views over the Green River; Access to a network of 4WD trails. High-clearance vehicles are preferred, but not necessary. This trail is dirt roads, but may have rocks, grades, water crossings, or ruts that make clearance a concern in a normal passenger vehicle. The trail is fairly wide, so that passing is possible at almost any point along the trail. Mud is not a concern under normal weather conditions."
