Mineral Point Trail

Mineral Point Trail Professional Review and Guide

"This short spur trail runs out onto Mineral Point, one of the long ridges that overlooks the Green River. The trail is graded dirt along its entire length and is suitable in dry weather for high-clearance 2WDs. However, in wet weather the trail is often impassable to all vehicles because of the clinging red mud.

The surface in dry weather is sandy with patches of southeast Utah’s ubiquitous powder-fine sand traps. There are some minor rocky sections at the far end and a few small washes. Special Attractions: Panoramic views from Mineral Point over the Green River; Easy and scenic high-clearance road; Provides access to a large network of interesting trails. High-clearance vehicles are preferred, but not necessary."
