Lower Courthouse Wash Trail Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This primitive hike takes you up a narrow cliff-lined canyon with dense vegetation and pools of water formed by beaver dams. The Lower Courthouse Wash Trail winds up the floor of a twisting, cliff-lined canyon, offering a good backcountry adventure on the southern edge of Arches National Park.
The hike, starting on US 191 rather than in the park, is easily accessible from Moab. Water is usually found in the canyon, especially after summer thunderstorms and during the spring. Beavers have dammed some sections of the canyon, creating great pools of water."
