Hurrah Pass Trail

Hurrah Pass Trail Professional Review and Guide

"This trail, beginning in the center of Moab, is an excellent introduction to canyon country. It has a little bit of every- thing—stunning views in the canyon and from the plateau and the pass, ancient petroglyphs, the Colorado River, and access to hiking and 4WD trails.

Special Attractions: Ancient petroglyphs in Moonflower Canyon; Colorado River access and views of the vista from Hurrah Pass; Camping in Kane Springs Canyon. High-clearance vehicles are preferred, but not necessary. This trail is dirt roads, but may have rocks, grades, water crossings, or ruts that make clearance a concern in a normal passenger vehicle. The trail is fairly wide, so that passing is possible at almost any point along the trail. Mud is not a concern under normal weather conditions."
