Fisher Towers

Fisher Towers Professional Review and Guide

"After about 30 minutes you approach the base of the first tower. These towers are fins, or monoliths, that extend hundreds of vertical feet upward with sheer cliff faces. The tower walls are unique—they look like the edges of huge sandcastles smoothed by scraping fingers down the walls.

The towers are remnants of a mesa that eroded over eons. Above the towers to the east, the mesa top rises hundreds of feet higher. The trail follows benches between the base of the towers and the edges of the washes below."

Great hike that never seems to get old. We like to go early in the morning when you are mostly likely to spot climbers on the walls.
this was a nice easy hike ,about 4.5 miles out and back.there was some exposure but it wasn't radical. the finish is a great overlook of the towers and the whole valley. great vistas and you get up close to the towers. if you are lucky you might catch some climbers like we did. one climber stood atop one of the towers and yahooed!! great hike
