This hike offers an easy introduction to the Canyonlands and
its cultural history and plant life. At the trailhead, for a token fee, you can get a brochure for this self-guided interpretive trail. Along the short, flat route, signs identify key native plant species, and the brochure describes these plants and how American Indians used them. Halfway around the loop, you can see a granary typical of the ancient Puebloan structures found throughout the park, although few are as well-preserved as this one."
