Logan Peak

Logan Peak Professional Review and Guide

"Getting to Logan Peak (also called Mount Logan) can be quite a haul for a day tour,
especially if you’re breaking trail. But the reward for earning those turns is some of the
best skiing you’ll find in Logan’s backyard, easily accessed by a trailhead on the edge
of town. The summit elevation is 9710 feet, making it the tallest mountain south of Logan Canyon in the Bear River Range—reason enough to make the climb. A nearly 5-mile approach through Dry Canyon entertains with a low-grade skin through beautiful scenery, and quality skiing on the mountain’s north and west aspects are the prize lines and should not be overlooked."
