Bear Hollow Trail - Twin Creek

Bear Hollow Trail - Twin Creek Professional Review and Guide

"Riding the Bear Hollow Trail to Twin Creek is like racing a Super D downhill course, which is becoming a popular mountain bike race format. The premise behind a Super D (“D” is for descent) is that the finish line is substantially lower than the starting line, but there is some climbing mid-route. It rekindles the days of old when cross-country mountain bike racers were disciplined downhillers, too, unlike today’s armored breed who ride long-travel tanks and must take a chair lift to get uphill.

Get out your old-fashioned, cross-country mountain bike and ride across the Bear River Range on this mostly downhill route. Tread: 1.5 miles of maintained singletrack (uphill), 2.5 miles of primitive singletrack (downhill), 4 miles of steep, sometimes rutted doubletrack (downhill)."
