Mill Meadow Reservoir

Mill Meadow Reservoir Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Mill Meadow was once fondly dubbed “Monster Meadow” because of all the freaky hybrid trout that DWR officials were planting there in an attempt to fight whirling disease. Biologists planted brownbows, brakes, splake, and tiger trout. Today the splake and tiger trout remain, along with some rainbow trout.

Fishing at Mill Meadow is best with spoons and spinners fished from shore. Bait works in the middle of the day. Leech patterns fished deep will also turn up some fish. Key Species: Rainbow trout, splake, tiger trout, yellow perch, and tiger muskie."
