Natural Bridges National Monument Campground

Natural Bridges National Monument Campground Professional Review and Guide

"Somewhere between the tiny town of Blanding and the recreation hot spot of Lake Powell lies the tiny little desert isle of Natural Bridges National Monument. The park encompasses just 7,636 acres, but each one holds something special that’s just begging to be discovered. Only about 125,000 people visit Natural Bridges each year, so the campground within the park is actually a great place to spend the night.

That might seem like a lot of visitors, but when you consider that more than a half million people go to Canyonlands and 2.5 million see Glen Canyon each year, you’ve got an underutilized facility at your disposal. The park’s 13 campsites provide the essentials: a table and a place to set up your tent. There’s no water on-site, but water and modern restrooms are available at the visitor center, less than a quarter mile away on a footpath that leaves directly from the campground."
