East Fork Sevier River

East Fork Sevier River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This river flows into Tropic Reservoir near Bryce Canyon National Park and continues northeasterly to Otter Creek Reservoir before irrigation use brings it down to a dwindle.

The upper stretches of the river contain primarily brook trout and cutthroat. Small dries fished in pocket water work for both species. Small spoons will also produce fish. The river eventually dumps into Otter Creek Reservoir. Fishing below Otter Creek in Kingston Canyon is good with night crawlers and
medium-size spoons and lures. Large terrestrials, especially hoppers, work well in late summer.

Key Species: Brook trout, cutthroat trout, brown trout, and rainbow trout."
