Adams Canyon

Adams Canyon Professional Review and Guide

"From the valley floor, Adams Canyon appears no different from any other ordinary canyon along the Wasatch Front. But once inside, you’ll find a deep canyon filled with white fir, a tumbling creek, and a stunning waterfall waiting at the end of the trail.

Locals have done a good job of keeping Adams Canyon a secret. No signs at the trailhead indicated where you are or that you can even access the canyon."

I hike this canyon regularly with the family, and run it often on my own.. It is one of my favorite local trails and I highly recommend it to all. Make sure to take water, and realize that the last portion is somewhat steep, and a little technical for a newbie, or young one.

Took the whole family up this trail with our 20 month old in the Kelty pack. This was a great family hike with several very technical areas. The payoff was at the waterfall which was fantastic.

This trail is gorgeous. The terrain is steep at first but the trek to the waterfall is short and worthwhile. My only complaint is that it has high traffic.

easy to get to trail head, most of the trail is very well maintained. Gets a bit tricky towards the end near the falls but is well worth the trip. took my 3 daughters 7,9,11 all had a great time.

The trail was busy on the day I went. A group of seven of us went and hiked back to the waterfall, you will get your feet wet in order to see it but it was a nice hike back to it.
