Kanosh Canyon Drive

Kanosh Canyon Drive Professional Review and Guide

"This is a pretty and relaxing summer or fall cruise through pastoral hills and scenic Kanosh Canyon. The hills are vegetated with grass, sagebrush, pinyon pines, junipers, scrub oak and creekside cottonwoods. By about mile 14.3 the road crosses a low summit, at about 7,000 feet, as you follow the
course of an undulating valley.

As you continue south, descending gradually through rolling hills and knobby mountaintops, you will have fine views of the Tushar Mountains, which soar to 12,169 feet at Delano Peak
By mile 24.3 [N38°35.303' W112°28.057'], after passing through a rocky flat called Devil’s Dance Floor and then Mud Spring Hollow, you will come to S.R. 4. I-70."
