Twin Lakes Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Most people proceed unknowingly right past these lakes. It seems everyone makes the extra effort to hike over Notch Pass to see the beautiful scenery that Ibantic Lake offers. And rightly so.

From Notch Pass, the country is amazing. On the other hand, Twin Lakes may make a good base camp that gives you the serenity no other lakes in this area can provide. Don’t get us wrong; Twin Lakes get their fair share of attention, but they are often overlooked."
