Hayden Peak

Hayden Peak Professional Review and Guide

"Hayden Peak literally stands out among the summits that rise along the Mirror Lake Highway. As you drive over Bald Mountain Pass from Kamas, Hayden is the most intimidating, jagged, and prominent mountain in the sawtooth skyline. But fear not, because the skiing and snowboarding is not found off the impossible summit cliffs, but rather on a few couloirs to the southwest and moderate runs off Point 11820. Access is fast and relatively easy from the Highline Trail at Hayden Pass, which means you can spend an entire spring day picking off lines that are ripe for the taking."
