Hurricane Cliffs Trail

Hurricane Cliffs Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Getting to the start of this trail is a slight challenge in itself, as none of the roads are marked! Special Attractions: Section of the historic Honeymoon Trail; Exciting, challenging climb up Hurricane Cliffs; Desert cactus vegetation. This trail is for experienced four-wheel drivers only. It is potentially dangerous, with large rocks, ruts, or terraces that may need to be negotiated.

It may also have stream crossings at least 18 inches deep, involve rapid currents, unstable stream bottoms, or difficult access; steep slopes, loose surfaces, and narrow clearances; or very narrow sections of shelf road with steep drop-offs and potentially challenging road surfaces."

This trail, was not as difficult as I would have expected. I did traverse it primarily in my low gear range, which could be making it seem easier. It was narrow and steep in places, but had stunning views throughout.
