Huntington North Reservoir Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This reservoir sees a lot of local recreational pressure on its 237 acres. State park facilities include 22 camping units, picnic sites, modern restrooms, showers, sewage disposal station, boat launching, and a large covered group-use pavilion.
Due to its low elevation and warm water in the summer months, Huntington North is a better bass fishery than trout. Fishing for the bass is best in the spring when the largemouth are staging for the spawn. Look for them near gravel or flat rock and close to flooded brush or trees. Key Species: Largemouth bass, brown trout, rainbow trout, and bluegill."
