Reids Peak Professional Review and Guide
"Reids Peak is practically Bald Mountain’s twin, as the two proudly stand side by
side above the Mirror Lake Highway. But even though Reids shares the same easy
access from the road, it’s a bit steeper, rockier, and more intimidating. If you have a snowmobile and can get to Mirror Lake in the winter, there are a couple of skiable
shots off the summit. But spring is not kind to Reids Peak as her boulder-strewn crown
melts off quickly, and skiing from the top is nearly impossible. However, when the road
is finally plowed, there are usually a few snow-filled lines that stubbornly remain, just
waiting for your skis or snowboard. These lines are the ones described here."
