Horsetanks / Glen Canyon Professional Review and Guide

"This is one of those serendipitous found simply by eyeballing some lines on a map and then investigating where they led. It makes one wonder how many good and great rides in southern Utah have yet to be blazed by fat tires.

The 12.5-mile loop, rated aerobically moderate and technically easy, for the most part fol-lows a road of packed sand that occasionally sees benefit of the blade. There’s also a little slickrock and wash sand thrown in, as well as 3.5 miles of paved UT 95. General location: On UT 95, the Bicentennial Highway, roughly 80 miles northwest of Blanding and 50 miles southeast of Hanksville."
