Sego Ghost Town Trail

Sego Ghost Town Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The Sego Ghost Town Trail may be short, but it makes up in beauty and historical interest what it lacks in length. This trail makes an easy side trip along I-70 if you want to take in some local scenery and don’t have much time. Special Attractions: Rock art panels; Sego ghost town and the old railroad grade; Connects with Sagers Canyon Trail and Floy Wash Trail; Panoramic views.

High-clearance vehicles are preferred, but not necessary. This trail is dirt roads, but may have rocks, grades, water crossings, or ruts that make clearance a concern in a normal passenger vehicle. The trail is fairly wide, so that passing is possible at almost any point along the trail. Mud is not a concern under normal weather conditions."
