White Tower Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A route through Four Mile Hollow ending at White Tower. This route traverses land administered by the Bureau of Land Management and crosses the fringes of private land as well. Since Four Mile Hollow and the upper reaches of Kanab Creek are administered by the BLM, the area is heavily used by grazing cattle.

Evidence of heavy grazing, such as disturbed soil and damaged vegetation, are obvious throughout the trek. Because cattle contaminate the waterways, drinking from water sources along this route is not recommended, even if the water is filtered. Bring enough water to last the entire hike without having to take any from the stream."
